Located about 20 miles South of Washington D.C., the historic town of Occoquan covers an area of 0.2sq miles on the South side of the Occoquan River.

The town’s history goes back 300 years. Relative to its population of 273 people in 1860, today approximately 1,100 people call Occoquan their home. Occoquan is a rare site in the modern, Northern Virginia, area as the old, small town feel has been completely preserved.
