Centreville is a community within Fairfax County located approximately 26 miles from D.C. Routes 66, 29, and 28 intersect in the heart of Centreville and Route 50 is in close proximity. Centreville is still a relatively newly developed area. The living costs, mainly the housing, are affordable at the moment. People find the place pleasant to live and many people are moving into the area.

Centreville is a culturally-diverse community with socioeconomically mixed neighborhoods. The area offers a large variety of housing and employment opportunities. There are several large open shopping centers in and around Centreville as well as nearby Fair Oaks Mall in Fairfax. In Centreville prepare to indulge in a wide variety of delicious, ethnic cuisine from Korean fried chicken (Bonchon) to Asian-style Barbeque (Iron Age, Kangchon), decadent cafes and bakeries (Tous les Jours, Jireh, Shilla Bakery) to authentic, casual Italian (Ciao Osteria). Centreville has a sizable Korean-American community and one of the largest concentrations of Korean-American populations in Fairfax County. The area is known through Korean circles as a residential, up-and-coming Koreatown.The Connection newspaper writes, “the recent commercial explosion of Korean-owned and operated business has changed the landscape; now commonplace are store fronts, banners and posted signs written in hangul, the Korean script, advertising everything from barbershops to churches to Korean pop concerts.” The population of Centreville is approximately 72,000 and occupies 9.73 square miles.

Centreville is surrounded by history. There are many historical landmarks and museums not only in the community but in much of the surrounding area. Virginia has over 200 wineries and vineyards. The Winery at Bull Run, which sits on the border of the Manassas Battlefield on the edge of Fairfax County, is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. They offer a space for families and pets as well as adults only. For indoor relaxation, Spa World, a more traditional Korean-style spa, is a much-loved 24-hour destination with hot pools, saunas, massage, a smoothie bar, and a casual Korean restaurant. Also, in Centreville is Stuart-Mosby Civil War Cavalry Museum, Cox Farm, Bull Run Regional Park, Bull Run Regional Park Shooting Center, Atlantis Water Park, Pirate’s Cove Water Park, Blacksburg Ford, and not too far outside Centreville is Manassas Battlefield and George Washington’s Mount Vernon. Bull Run Regional Park is the host to several 5K runs, cultural festivals, music festivals, a campground, wine festivals, a Christmas light show and much more. Cox Farm offers a large variety of activities especially fun during the Fall with hay rides, pumpkin patch, petting zoo, slides, and Halloween haunted attractions.

The Fairfax County Connector bus can take you between the metro and the park & ride. There is also the metro bus system. The Vienna metro, the closest metro, is 11.4 miles from Centreville. Dulles Airport is only 8 miles away and can be accessed by Route 28.
